Good communication is critical to creating a strong relationship with doctors on Messly and ensuring the recruitment process moves as quickly as possible.
We've introduced the 'Status Updates' feature to help you keep track of where you're up to in the recruitment process and keep doctors up to date.
Here's how it works:
From the Conversations page, you will now be able to see the conversation status against each active conversation.
Clicking on the 'Edit' icon will bring up a popup asking you to update the status and provide a message to the doctor. We recommend adding a message to every status update to provide more details to the doctor.
Once the status is updated, the doctor will be alerted to the status change via email and SMS.
You can also update the status from the 'Details' page via the 'Update Status' button. You can keep track of the status updates for a conversation via the "Status Log'
Conversation Statuses:
You can chose from the following statuses for each conversation.
Initial Conversation
Interest Declined
Awaiting More Information
Request Call
Call Scheduled
Actively Finding Roles
Submitted for Interview
Rejected At Interview
Job Offer Made
Job Offer Accepted
Job Offer Declined
Keeping statuses up-to-date:
All candidates on Messly Talent are actively looking for work so all conversations with doctors should be for roles that are currently available.
To ensure the recruitment process stays live, we keep track of activity on all conversations and expect this to be updated atleast once every 7 days. Activity on a conversation includes:
A new message sent
A status update on the recruitment process.
If last activity on a conversation goes past 7 days, you will be asked to update the status or send a message to the doctor before you are able to search and message more candidates. You can provide the same status update if it hasn't changed in the last 7 days, however our team will be keeping an eye on conversation that are going stale and will actively remove them if we don't see any meaningful activity.
