We’re very excited to be opening up Messly to current F2s from 9th May 2023.

👉 How many F2s doctors will there be?

We currently have 1,300 F2 doctors on the waitlist who will be going live from 9th May. They are looking for F3 locums from August onwards.

This is around double the number of F2s we had last year, so we expect it to be busy!

👉 How will they be released?

Each working day, we will select a batch of around 40 doctors to be released. These doctors will then confirm that they are still looking for locums, and will then go live as normal.

This will continue until the middle of June, until all doctors have been released.

👉 How will I be notified about new doctors?

We will send email and mobile app notifications to recruiters who’s alerts match to those doctors as normal.

We have some issues with email delivery and spam filters at the moment, so we definitely recommend downloading our mobile app to avoid this.

👉 What can I do to get prepared?

There are certainly a few things you can do to set yourself up for success!

We’ve put together a summary page with some tips, which is attached and pasted below.

The key points are:

1) Download the Messly mobile app. Message doctors out of hours, and get new doctor notifications sooner. We have both Apple and Android apps.

2) Update your alert preferences. Make sure you’re receiving all the correct alerts, based on which doctors you will focus on. See here.

3) Prepare an F3-specific template. Save time and send more personalised messages to increase your response rate.

4) Gather testimonials from your placed doctors. Stand out by showing off great feedback from your doctors. See here.

5) Book a refresher with Tara? If you haven’t used Messly in a while, we can help you get up to speed and prepared for rotation. Book here.

...and of course, if you have any questions please reach out to the Messly team.
